Norma “Peg” Moreland, 89, formerly of Frederick, Ohio, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016 at her residence at the Brethren Retirement Community, Greenville. She was born October 17, 1927, in Piqua, to the late Charles and Jesse (Snell) Elicker. She married Raymond E. Moreland on August 20, 1948; he preceded her in death on December 2, 2004.
Mrs. Moreland will be missed and remembered by her sons, Barry L. Moreland of West Alexandria, Wesley E. Moreland of Ludlow Falls; three grandchildren, Christopher, Brad, and Braydon Moreland; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Rebecca Rae Moreland.
Peg was a lifelong homemaker and a longtime member of the former Sugar Grove Bible Church in Frederick.
Private graveside services will be held for her family at Wheelock Cemetery, Nashville. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements are in care of Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home. Online tributes may be left for Peg’s family at jackson-sarver.com.
