We were sorry to learn of the death of Mrs. King and extend are sincere sympathy to the entire family. Hard to forget a great woman, fantastic heart-of-household, and even more fantastic cook -- even looking back about 55 years when I was the "town boy" working on the King farm taking in tobacco! She led a long and memorable life well lived. Dick Sollmann

King Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at the time of your loss. I always enjoyed Velma and remember her smile and laugh. Even though parents live a good and long life it is still hard to let them go. Keep your memories close.

Rejoice with you that mom, grandma, sister....could go home. Had to cry when I heard this morning but am so happy for her. Just listened to Bill Gaither's group sing "It Is Finished" and thought how fitting for her. Know there are sad moments, death is so final, but so many good memories. She called Gerald after he came home from one of his hospital stays, just to encourage. Sweet memories. Much love to you all, Ruby Wagoner
