O'CONNOR, William F.
Age 60, of Troy, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born March 31, 1954, in Troy, Ohio, to the late William Harold & Betty Jean (Martin) O'Connor. Bill graduated from Troy High School class of 1973 and retired from Spinnaker Coatings after 40 years of service. He enjoyed classic cars, motorcycles and woodworking. He spent a lot of time outside fishing, golfing, boating, sitting by the bonfire with his loving family. He will be missed and remembered by his children and their spouses Amy O'Connor & Jerry Tamplin of Troy, William & Genevieve O'Connor of Troy; grandchildren Larissa O'Connor, Kayleigh O'Connor, Billy O'Connor, Collier O'Connor, Cassidy Tamplin, Elijah Tamplin, Andy O'Connor; siblings and their spouses Charlotte & Michael Witwer of Tipp City, Mary & Michael Ruffin of Troy; nephews Todd & Jennifer Young, Craig & Jessica Young, Sean Ruffin & fiancé© Iris Lawrence, Ben Ruffin & fiancé© Allison Rudy, Patrick Ruffin, Alex Ruffin; special friend Mary Anne Zimorski; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Monday, June 30, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 409 E. Main Street, Troy, with interment following at Riverside Cemetery, Troy. The family will receive friends from 2-5 PM Sunday at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 1 S. Main Street, Pleasant Hill.
