William Walter Allison

Age 90, of Pleasant Hill, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Brookdale of Troy. He was born January 9, 1934, in Piqua, Ohio, to his parents Charles & Helen (Moyer) Allison. Bill attended Piqua High School and served his country in the US Navy as a salvage diver. He retired from the Miami County Highway Department as a bridge superintendent after nearly 30 years of service.  He loved spending time outdoors where he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was very close to his nieces and nephews and they considered him one of their favorite uncles. He will be missed and remembered by his wife Juanita P. (Todd) Allison; sisters-in-law Sally Allison and Mary Hile; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family; special friends Mike & Karen Newman. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Jim, Sam, Tom, and Nancy. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, September 5, at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 1 S. Main Street, Pleasant Hill, with interment following at Miami Memorial Park, Covington. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
