Wayne Emerson Warner

Age 83, of Arcanum, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021, at his home. He was born July 3, 1937, in Arcanum, Ohio, to his parents Roy Emerson & Frieda Alta (Niswonger) Warner. He graduated from Newton High School class of 1955 and retired from Cadillac Gage. Wayne was a true cowboy at heart. He loved horses, trail riding, and even showed his gaited Kentucky Mountain horse in competitions. He was active in the Montgomery County Horse Club and really enjoyed riding the Sycamore State Park horse trail.  Wayne was a kid at heart and loved spending time with his family, his dogs, and camping and fishing. He also really loved living and working on his family farm. He will be missed and remembered by his daughters and son-in-law Robin Ann & Paul Barker of Lexington, Kentucky, Cindy L. Warner of Pleasant Hill, Penny Kay Warner of Pleasant Hill; 6 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; 6 step great grandsons; brother Jim Warner of Georgia; girlfriend Vicki Anthony of Arcanum. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Tom Warner; sisters-in-law JoAnne Warner and Darlene Warner. Private family services will be held. Interment at Miami Memorial Park, Covington.
