Virginia Cathern Hughes (Cheek) 7/30/43 to 9/7/21

Cathy died in her home most likely watching gun smoke with her chihuahua Cinnamon. She still talked of her deceased husband Lee Hughes often as he was the love of her life. Cathy had many brothers and sisters deceased and alive. Pretty sure she tolerated the deceased family best. Her son and daughter loved her very much but were tolerated by her in small doses. She loved playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was lovingly called GG. There were so many extended family members and friends that are going to miss this caring, ferocious, spunky and sassy lady. A graveside service will be held at 5:30 PM on Thursday, September 23, 2021 in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Hill with a reception following at the Newton Field House and Community Center, 201 Long St, Pleasant Hill, OH 45359.
