Vicky (Peepels) Rouse

Age 58 of Troy, passed away Friday, October 18, 2024, at Hospice of Miami County. She was born May 27, 1966, in Troy, Ohio, to her parents John “Mike” Peepels & Gloria (Pointdexter) Collins.

She attended Ripley Union Lewis High School. Her passion for life was evident in her numerous interests, which included family cookouts, spending tranquil hours fishing, and nurturing her garden. Vicky's companionship with her beloved dogs and cat was a constant source of joy, as was her enthusiasm for watching football, cheering at car races, and feeling the excitement at demolition derbies.

Vicky's presence was a comfort and a source of fun around campfires, where stories and laughter were shared. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her caring spirit and her dedication to bringing joy to the lives of those around her.

She will be missed and remembered by her son Justin Hornsby (Lorin) of Dover, Kentucky; daughter Jessica Hornsby (Jeremy) of Williamsburg, Ohio; grandsons Will Hornsby, Haiden Jacobs, and LJ Stewart; granddaughter Caitlyn Hornsby (Ben); great grandson Ashton; brothers and sisters-in-law Mike & Carolyn Peepels of Bellefontaine, Gary & Crystal Peepels of Ocala, Florida, David & Nikkia Collins of Covington, Jamie Peepels of Troy; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family; stepmother Gladys Peeples of Sidney.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 12:30-2:00 PM Saturday, November 2, at the Ludlow Falls Church 213 Vine Street, Ludlow Falls, Ohio 45339. Interment at Greenville Creek Cemetery. Memories may be shared with the family online at www.jackson-sarver.com
