Van D. Jackson

Age 89, of Troy, went to be with the Lord Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Upper Valley Medical Center. He was born October 7, 1934, in Covington, Ohio, to his parents Andrew & Minnie Mae (Adams) Jackson.

Van graduated from Newton High School class of 1953. He worked as a farmer in the Miami County area with his son Vaughn for over 50 years.

Van was preceded in death by his loving wife Betty (Hocker) Jackson; brothers Charles Jackson, Clyde Jackson, Otis Jackson, Warren Jackson, Andrew Jackson, John Jackson; sisters Helen Jackson, Leona Fritz, Alma Stewart.

He will be missed and remembered by his son and daughter-in-law Vaughn & Kay (Knaeble) Jackson of Pleasant Hill; brother Aubrey Jackson; sister Ruth Roeth; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 15, at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 1 S. Main Street, Pleasant Hill, with interment following at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
