Tasha “Maria” Morris

Age 47, of Troy, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023, at OSU Wexner Medical Center.

She was born December 29, 1975, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to her parents Heliodoro & Nancy Camilla (Duncan) Velez. Maria graduated from Shaw High School in Georgia and worked at OSU Wexner Medical Center as a billing specialist. She enjoyed watching movies, reading, cooking, shopping, taking walks and loving her animals. But mostly, she loved spending time with her family and friends  She will be missed and remembered by her father; her fiancé Brent Wackler; children and their spouses Tristan James MacFarlane of Hinesville, Georgia, Mason Duncan Morris of Columbus, Imagyn Skylar Morris of Columbus, Alexandria “Alexa” Eryn Watkins of Troy; sister Jennifer Dawn Antee of Columbus; nieces Emilee, Alyssa, and Lily.  She was preceded in death by her mother. Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Saturday, December 2, at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 1 S. Main Street, Pleasant Hill, with interment following at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:30-11:30 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Following the service, a celebration of life will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday at Tres Potrillos, 964 Galloway Rd., Galloway, OH 43119.
