Sarah M. Bailey

Age 100, of Troy, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023. She was born April 16, 1923, in Coldwater, Ohio, to her parents Lemuel & Miriam (Ingle) Grissom. She will be missed and remembered by her daughter Louise Edwards of Troy, grandchildren Tonya Edwards-Snapp and Tina Edwards-Bunger; 8 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; sister Helen Hesson; nieces and nephews Linda (Hesson) Pollard, Nancy (Hesson) Donley, Paulette (Hesson) Ford, and Steven Hesson; also great nieces, nephews and their children. She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law John Edwards; grandsons Terry and Tim Edwards; great grandson Ryan Edwards; nephew Gary Hesson. Sarah served in the United States Navy during World War II from November 2, 1944-January 3, 1946. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witness on July 8, 1995 in St. Petersburg, Florida. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 2, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3967 Washington Rd, Covington, OH 45318.
