Ronald Lee Bashore

Age 83, of Covington, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born July 18, 1938, in Piqua, Ohio, to his parents Donald & Reba (Wingard) Bashore. Ronald graduated from Covington High School class of 1957. He retired from Rudy’s Elevator after 30 years of service as a truck driver. He was a member of the Stillwater Community Church since 1979 and  was a member of the Odd Fellows in Covington. He enjoyed camping, riding his motorcycle, but mostly, he loved spending time with his family. 

He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Evelyn (Shoenleben) Bashore; children and their spouses Terry & Milan Bashore of Pleasant Hill, Jeff Bashore of Costa Rica, Michelle & Brian Kerns of Greenville, Jim Bashore of Covington; grandchildren Erica Bashore and Don Gregg of Sidney, Greg & Lauren Bashore of Warrenville, Illinois, Ashlee Fletcher of Greenville, Monica & Sven Kasarozky of Englewood, Jason & Erin Kerns of Moraine, Josh & Morgan Kerns of Columbia City, Indiana ; great grandchildren Dawn & Sean Gregg, Jack & Lily Bashore, Caleb Noll, Autumn & Kameron Fletcher, Logan & Zoey Kerns, Rayelynn Kerns, and another great grandson due in April; step brother Jim Warner of Monroe, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents and step brothers Wayne Warner and Tom Warner. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Monday December 20, at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 1 S. Main Street, Pleasant Hill. Pastor Jon Dillon and Pastor Ralph Schaafsma will officiate with interment following at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
