Norma L. Uhrig

Age  96, of Pleasant Hill, passed away Monday, December 25, 2023, at at Brookhaven Retirement Community. She was born October 25, 1927, in Miami County, Ohio, to her parents Willard & Cora (Arnold) Spitler. On April 19, 1946, she married Damon “Doc” Uhrig and together they shared a life for over 70 years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Damon Uhrig; son Stephen Uhrig; daughter-in-law Deborah Uhrig; Dwight Spitler, Lois Riesley. She will be missed and remembered by her sisters Virginia Holweger of Centerville and Bonnie Oliver of Tennessee numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, December 30, at the Potsdam Church of the Brethren, 22 Cross Street, Potsdam, with interment following at Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends 9:00-10:00 AM Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers,  memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.
