Nancy L. Willis

Age 89, of Pleasant Hill passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021. She was born February 11, 1932, in Pleasant Hill, Ohio, to her parents Laurence A. & Mary M. (Jackson) Wackler. Nancy graduated from Newton High School class of 1950 and worked as a telephone operator.  On August 26, 1956, she married Albert Willis in Pleasant Hill, and together they shared a life for over 60 years. She was a member of the Troy Moose Lodge 2695 and enjoyed playing cards with friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Albert “Bill” Willis; siblings Frances Hoke, Charles Wackler, Raymond Wackler, Ruth Goings, Thelma Waymire, Lydia Long, Harold Wackler, Mary Brumbaugh, Martha Yingst, Ruby Greishiemer, Donald Wackler, Fern Adams, Frieda Farmer.

She will be missed and remembered by her children and their spouses Lloyd & Suzie Willis of Troy, Jean & Ron Smith of Jacksonville, Florida, Jane Willis of Troy, Bill & Susan Willis of Brookville, Anthony Willis of Bradford; grandchildren Jason, Michael, Cory, Cole; great grandchildren Brady, Casey, Eli.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday, June 23, at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 1 S. Main Street, Pleasant Hill, with interment following at Miami Memorial Park, Covington. The family will receive friends from 9:30-11:30 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.
