WOOTON, Mattie Age 82 of Pleasant Hill, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at her home. She was born May 10, 1930, in Gate City, VA, to her parents Hiram & Dora (Hammonds) Bishop. She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Wooton; son Jack Wooton; daughter Sherry Wooton; brothers Robert, Paul, and Cecil Bishop. She is survived by her two grandchildren; siblings Lionel Bishop of Gate City, VA, Nora & William Vayo of Miamisburg, Shirley Barker of West Milton, Phyllis & Larry Morris of Port St. Lucie, FL. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, September 24, at First Brethren Church, 210 N. Church Street, Pleasant Hill. Pastor Lynn Mercer will officiate with interment following at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 PM Sunday at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 1 S. Main Street, Pleasant Hill. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to First Brethren Church, Pleasant Hill. Online memories may be left for the family at www.jackson-sarver.com
