Mary Bashore

BASHORE, Mary J.
Age 92, of Pleasant Hill, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015, at her home. She was born March 21, 1923, in Pleasant Hill, Ohio, to her parents Ralph & Fay (Shaffer) Landis. On August 21, 1943, Mary married Joe Bashore in Richmond, Indiana, and together they shared a life for over 54 years. Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband Joe; brothers Harold, Earl, and Ray Landis; sisters Lucille Turner and Margaret Brown. She will be missed and remembered by her son and daughter-in-law Roger and Candy Bashore of Troy; grandchildren Amy & John Evans of Troy, Molly & Matthew Cooper of Troy, Brett Bashore of Troy; great grandson Christopher Evans; step great grandson Duncan Cooper; sisters Patricia Weng of Troy and Betty Copeland of Piqua; sister-in-law Pauline Landis of Troy. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 19, at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 1 S. Main Street, Pleasant Hill, with interment following at Miami Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 9:00-11:00 AM Tuesday at the funeral home. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County.
