Marilyn Jane Ganger, age 79, of Piqua, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at her home. She was born March 8, 1939 to the late Ivan F. & Mildred (Enz) Ganger in Ludlow Falls, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister Alma Lois Mendenhall and brother Dale Franklin Ganger. She will be missed and remembered by her nieces and nephews Dennis (Michelle) Mendenhall, Douglas Mendenhall, Dale “Bud” Ganger Jr., Susan Harper (fiancé Todd Henry) , Beth Ann (Johnny) Manning; many great nieces and nephews and dear friend and companion Tom Shaner. Marilyn was a 1958 Newton High School graduate and worked at Piqua Memorial Hospital for 38 years and at Koester Pavilion for 2 ½ years as cook and baker. The family will receive friends from 10 AM-12 PM on Monday, April 9 at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 1 S. Main St, Pleasant Hill with a funeral service following at 12:00 PM.
