Age 81, formerly of Troy, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2011, at Sterling House of Piqua. She was born May 23, 1929, in Greenup County, KY, to her parents Homer & Cecillia (Corns) Imel. Ludie worked and later retired from Springhill Nursery as a group leader and worked at Troy SunShade as an inspector. She was preceded in death by her first husband Robert W. Favorite on June 22, 1974, and her second husband Ashur B Sperry on May 6, 2005; brothers Elmer Imel and Lester Imel. She will be remembered by her son and daughter-in-law Stephen K. & Lora Favorite of Pleasant Hill; daughter Robin M Blevins of Piqua; grandchildren Keith C. Blevins, Ariel R Blevins and Anna M. Blevins; great-grandson Blake Swan; sister Esther Smith of KY; step children Pam Wireman & family of South Shore, KY, Ken Sperry & family ofFrankfort, KY. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 25, at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 1 S. High St, Pleasant Hill. Interment will follow at Miami Memorial Park, Covington. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County.
