SHELLENBERGER, Justus Paul "J.P" passed away March 10, 2013, after a courageous fight with cancer. J.P. was born to Phil and Chris Shellenberger, November 11, 1980, in Ludlow Falls, OH. He graduated from Newton High School in 1999. After graduation, J.P. resided in Ludlow Falls. J.P. was self employed as a truck driver, but his passion was to follow in his father and grandfather's footsteps by assuming responsibilities on the family farm. J.P was a member of the Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren. He loved traveling, camping, fishing and boating; activities he could enjoy with his family. J.P. is survived by his parents and sister, Kate, of Ludlow Falls. He is preceded in death, by maternal grandparents Justus Dale and Ruth (Inman) Kyser and paternal grandparents Paul and Betty Jean (North) Shellenberger. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 15, at the Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren, 300 East Monument Street, Pleasant Hill, with Pastor Nick Beam officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM Thursday at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 1 S. Main Street, Pleasant Hill.
