Juanita P.  Allison “Pumkin”

Age 93, of Pleasant Hill, passed away Friday, September 13, 2024, at Hospice of Miami County. She was born December 4, 1930, in Troy, Ohio, to her parents Otho “Pete” & Veda (Snyder) Todd.  She graduated from Staunton High School class of 1948 and retired from Hobart Corporation after nearly 40 years of employment. On July 3, 1957, she married William Allison and together they shared a life for over 67 years.  Juanita loved animals especially her dogs and cats. She was preceded in death by her loving husband William “Bill” Allison; siblings Miriam Alexander and Catherine Brumbaugh; step-father Charles Hunt. She will be missed and remembered by her sister Mary Louise Hile of Piqua; sister-in-law Sally Allison of Houston; special friends Mike and Karen Newman of Troy; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, September 16, at Miami Memorial Park, 7875 N. Crescent Drive, Covington.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Union Baptist Church, 1833 E. Peterson Rd., Troy, Ohio  45373.
