Jerry Dean Garber
Age 86, of Brookville, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Cypress Pointe Health Campus. He was born March 17, 1937, to his parents Glen & Louise (Boone) Garber. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years Vera (Flory) Garber; his parents; brothers Donald Garber and Kenneth Garber; sister Marilyn Lesher; in-laws Lillian Garber and Dale Flory. He will be missed and remembered by his children and their families Debbie & Burley Stewart of Lewisburg, Darrel & Elaine Garber of Lima, Donna & John Redick of Hagerstown, Maryland; four grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother Larry Garber; in-laws Margie Garber of Wirtz, Virginia, Melvin Lesher of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, Don & Vera Flory of Pomona, Kansas, Yvonne Flory of Arcanum; all his friends at Cornerstone Dunkard Brethren Church. Private family services were held with interment at Potsdam Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
