SHUMAKER, James ?Jim? Age 63 of Shepherdsville, KY, formerly of Pleasant Hill, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2011, with his family by his side. Jim was born and raised in Ohio and was a Baptist. Jim was preceded in death by his mother Glenna Smith Shumaker and his granddaughter Taylor Nicole Zollman. He is survived by his father Lowell Shumaker of Pleasant Hill; his loving companion of 4 years Sara Baker; his children Tina Williams of Louisville, KY, Stacey Snapp of Brazil, IN, Bonnessa Coy of Mt Washington, KY, Melissa Tomlinson (Michael) of Battletown, KY, and Alisha Zollman (Jason) of Charlestown, IN; sisters Peggy Bowers of Columbus and Sandra Sutherin of Centerville; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 9, at Jackson-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 1 S. Main St, Pleasant Hill. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM Monday and 1-2 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. If so desired, memorial contributions may be to the charity of one?s choice.
