Jack Lee Brown
Age 64, of Bradford, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at his home. He was born May 2, 1956, in Union, Kentucky, to his parents Chester & Geneva (Isaacs) Brown. Jack grew up on the family farm in northern Kentucky raising tobacco and cattle. This shaped his love of the outdoors and horticulture. After graduation from Eastern Kentucky University in 1978 Jack spent the majority of his adult life in Ohio. Despite the distance he always kept his Kentucky friends and family close to his heart. Jack will be missed for his outgoing personality, warm smile, eternal optimism and his whole body laugh. Jack never knew a stranger and always made everyone feel welcomed in his presence. Jack's hobbies included, fishing with his friends and grandson, landscaping, growing flowers and vegetables, and helping his family. Jack enjoyed serving others and had a knack for showing up to help at just the right time. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Kenny Brown. Jack is survived by his daughter Abby (Lucas) Delcamp; beloved grandson Owen Delcamp; sisters Judy Black and Janet Setters; brother Larry Brown (Pam); seven nieces and nephews; numerous great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, January 23, at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 1 S. Main Street, Pleasant Hill. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Galilean Home Ministries in Northern Kentucky.
