Hugh M. Ruppert
Age 94, of Pleasant Hill, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025 at his home. He was born March 4, 1931, in Dayton, Ohio, to his parents George W. & Blanch (King) Ruppert. Hugh's life was one of dedication, hard work, and joyful service to his community and loved ones.

Hugh married the love of his life, Delores Winters, on August 10, 1956, in Indiana. Their union was a testament to enduring love and shared values. Hugh earned an Electronic Technician certification from Bell and Howell. His knowledge and skills led him to Miami Valley Hospital, where not only did he work as an electrical maintenance tech, but it was also where fate happily arranged for him to meet Delores.

Dedicated and meticulous in his work, Hugh later retired from Hobart Brothers as an electronic technician. Yet, his zeal for work and helping others didn't cease with retirement. He continued to use his expertise at the Christian Life Center for over 15 years and even served the community at McDonald's in Piqua into his 90s.

Hugh cherished southern southern gospel music and had a particular knack for tinkering with old radios and TVs. This led him to start the Electronic Service Center company in Pleasant Hill. A devoted attendee of Victory Church in Tipp City, he lived his faith not only in words but in his kind, friendly, and selfless demeanor that touched the hearts of all who knew him.

Hugh's memory will remain an emblem of unwavering kindness and an inspiration to all as we remember his extraordinary life.

He will be missed and remembered by his children and their spouses Rick Ruppert of Pleasant Hill, John Ruppert of Hastings, Minnesota, Tom & Valerie Ruppert of Covington, Bruce & Cheryl Ruppert of Hendersonville, North Carolina, Brenda & Larry Hester of Clarkson, Kentucky; grandchildren Chelsey, Phillip, Robert, Justin, Matthew, Sarah, Amy; 7 great grandchildren; many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Delores Ruppert; son Daniel Ruppert; brothers Frank Ruppert and Norman Ruppert.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 20, at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 1 South Main Street, Pleasant Hill, with interment following at Miami Memorial Park, Covington. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
