DUFFEY, Harold Age 82, of Bradford, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2010, at his home. Harold was born on March 12, 1928, in Circle Hill, Ohio to the late Ralph Duffey and Elizabeth Drees Duffey (Francis) Kraus. He is survived by step-brother Robert (Marianna) Kraus of Palo Alto, Calif. and step-sister Ellen (Robert) Hemmerich of West Milton. Harold was married to his loving wife Marceda (Hodges) Duffey for 62 years and she survives. Also surviving are sons Toby Duffey of Bradford and Gary (Deborah) Duffey of Pleasant Hill; 6 grandchildren Shane (Michele) Duffey of Bellbrook, Shannon Duffey of Pleasant Hill, Sharon (Michael) Casey of Covington, Shaun Duffey of Covington, Heather (Daniel) Welbaum of Troy, Travis (Alyssa) Duffey of Hilliard, 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by step-brother Marvin (Glenna) Kraus. Harold was a 1946 graduate of Newton High School. He grew up helping his parents operate Duffey's Grocery in Circle Hill. In 1953, he began working at Meadow Gold Dairy/Beatrice Foods where he worked as a wholesale driver/salesman for 35 years. Harold was a member of Stillwater Grange for 65 years. He was a drummer in the Rhythm ?5? Dance Band. He was a member of the Greenville Creek Christian Church. Funeral services for Harold will be held on 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 28, at the Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 1 S. Main Street, Pleasant Hill with Pastor Daryl Peeples officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery, Covington. Family & friends may gather from 3-7 PM Monday at the funeral home.
