WEAVER, Georgiana Abbott
Age 87, of Pleasant Hill, went to be with the Lord at 3:45 PM, May 19, 2014, at Genesis Health Care, Troy, with her family present. Georgiana was born November 23, 1926, in Lawton, MI, to her parents Wayne & Olive (Lawton) Abbott. She married Clare Raymond Weaver on August 14, 1948. Georgiana was on the Town Council for Pleasant Hill and Town Clerk Treasurer. She also volunteered at the Upper Valley Medical Center, for Newton School’s third grade reading program, Board of Elections, and was a member of Beta Sigma Phi service sorority. Georgiana was preceded in death by her parents Wayne & Olive Abbott; brothers Wayne Abbott, Jr. and Thomas Abbott; in-laws Raymond & Gladies Weaver. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years Ray Weaver; three children James & Meggan Weaver, Patricia & Mark Passwaters, Barbara Weaver; grandchildren and their spouses Ray & Kim Weaver, Jeff & Mindy Weaver; great grandchildren Troy, Justin, Eliana. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with interment in Lawton, MI.
