Genevieve P. McFadden

Age 93, of Pleasant Hill, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at Springmeade Health Center. She was born April 10, 1922, in Cameron, West Virginia, to her parents Harry A. & Pearl O. (Ramsey) Karr. On April 18, 1947, Genevieve married Herman C. McFadden in Jacobsburg, Ohio, and together they shared a life and raised a family for over 36 years. Genevieve worked as a nurses aid at Stouder Hospital, Troy. She was the owner of Alcony General Store in Alcony, Ohio, from 1966-1969 and was a longtime member of the Grace Baptist Church, Ludlow Falls. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Herman; 2 sisters and 3 brothers. She will be missed and remembered by her children and their spouses Lee McFadden of Wapakoneta, Sharon McFadden of South Carolina, Carol Snead of Pleasant Hill, Phillip & Karen McFadden of Pleasant Hill, Colvin & Luella McFadden of Pleasant Hill, Mark & Susan McFadden of Troy; daughter-in-law Joan Vetter (Will) of Wapakoneta; grandchildren Theodore (Eileen Zabala), Gregory McFadden (Katie Marker), Melody & Mark Meuller, Tina Fawcett, Pamela Anderson, Sheila Anderson, Lori Griffin ( Michael), Suzanne Crumback (Pete), Larry P. Snead, Amanda Adams (Dirk), Emily Vance (Curtis), Nicholas McFadden (Nicole), Benjamin McFadden (Stephanie), Aron McFadden (Lynzee), Amber Shade (Bradley); 42 great grandchildren; 29 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, February 22, at Grace Baptist Church, 2500 St. Rt. 48, Ludlow Falls 45339, with interment following at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-5 PM Sunday, at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 1 S. Main Street, Pleasant Hill, and from 10-11 AM Monday at Grace Baptist Church.
