Douglas Denver Wehrley
Age 73, of Celina, formerly of Pleasant Hill, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2020, at his residence. He was born February 9, 1947, in Piqua, Ohio, to his parents Denver M. & Lois I. (Niswonger) Wehrley. He graduated from Newton High School class of 1965 and served in the US Air Force. On November 4, 1967, he married Barbara K. Meyer and together they shared a life for over 52 years. He retired from BF Goodrich as a machinist after 38 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman and was a member of the Mercer County Sportsman Association, Pleasant Hill Fish & Game, Fraternal Order of the Eagles #1291 of Celina and the Celina Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1473.
He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Barbara Wehrley; sons and daughters-in-law Wade & Vicki Wehrley of Covington, Shawn Wehrley of Pleasant Hill; grandchildren Deryk, Blaire , Kleyson, Nick; sisters Norma Noll of West Milton, Carol & Kent Stockslager of Cincinnati. The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 PM Friday, May 8, at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 1 S. Main Street, Pleasant Hill. Interment at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
