WISE, Dorma Jean Age 80 of Pleasant Hill, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2011, at Covington Care Center. She was born July 21, 1931, in Covington to her parents Russell & Lala (Via) Hoblit. Dorma Jean graduated from Newton High School Class of 1949. Following her training she worked as a registered nurse for over 35 years in Boston, Albuquerque, Xenia and retired from Piqua Memorial Hospital. After retirement she enjoyed traveling and camping around the country with her husband Wayne. She was a member of the Friendship Community Church and volunteered at Christian Radio Station WEEC. She had a love for children and was very active in the youth programs at church. She is survived by her loving husband Wayne Wise; step-son Gary Wise of Covington; brothers and sister-in-law Therell Hoblit of Covington, Jim & Carolyn Hoblit; numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Duane Hoblit. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, December 12, at Friendship Community Church, 5850 W. St Rt 41, Covington. Pastor Forest Jackson will officiate with interment following at Miami Memorial Park, Covington. The family will receive friends from 9-11AM Monday at the church.
