Donna Jean Fugate

Age 72, of Pleasant Hill, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023, at her home. She was born February 22, 1951, in Dayton, Ohio, to her parents Haskel R. & Theada B. (Winningham) Calahan. Donna was a very devoted Christian and loved Jesus. She attended Way of the Cross Church in Riverside and was a foster parent to over 100 children. She enjoyed ceramics, paintings, crocheting, and loved to watch Heartland.

She will be missed and remembered by her loving husband of 55 years Darrell L. Fugate, Sr.; children and their spouses Darrell Fugate, Jr. of Covington, David Dewayne Fugate of Covington, Demanda & Dave Erbaugh of Troy, Dan Fugate & Hailey Wang of Irvine, California; Destiny Fugate & fiancé Mark Brewer  of Kettering, Dylan Fugate of Pleasant Hill, Damon & Ramey Fugate of West Virginia, Dustin & Yazmin Fugate of Killeen, Texas, Davontee Fugate of Covington; 12 grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law Kenneth & Bette Calahan or California. She was preceded in death by her brothers  Jimmy Calahan and Haskel Calahan, Jr, and her infant sister.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 26, at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 1 S. Main Street, Pleasant Hill, with interment following at Old Union Cemetery, Ludlow Falls.
