Dannie E. Cromes
Age 76, of Ludlow Falls, passed away Friday, May 20, 2022, at his home.  He was born December 19, 1945, in Piqua, Ohio, to his parents Martin L. & Louise I. (Walker) Cromes. Dannie graduated from Piqua High School and retired as an inspector for Hobart Corporation. Was a member of the Redman’s Club and Troy Moose Lodge 2695. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed spending time in nature and who shared his love of hunting and fishing with his son and grandchildren. He also enjoyed planting trees, gardening,  walking the beaches of the Outer Banks in North Carolina, and spending time with his family. He will be missed and remembered by his life partner of over 30 years Linda Lewber; children and their spouses Kevin & Diana Cromes of Troy, Denise & Bryan Richards of Miamisburg, Melissa Pence & Simeon Saunders of Powell; Linda’s children and their spouses John & Kristen Lewber of Troy, Kascy & Carrie Lewber of Piqua; grandchildren Douglas, Dillon, Griffin, Noah, Isaac, Autumn, Jacob; great grandchildren Bennett; siblings and theirs spouses Paul & Betty Cromes of Piqua, Pete & Nancy Cromes of Piqua, Delbert Cromes of Piqua. He was preceded in death by his brother Benny Cromes and sister Wanda Favorite. 
A visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 PM Tuesday, May 24,  at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 1 S. Main Street, Pleasant Hill. A private graveside service will be held at Bear Creek-Hillgrove Cemetery,  Dayton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County.
