Christopher A. Van Kersen, 70, passed away on December 14, 2024 at Village Green Health Campus in Greenville Ohio. He was born on October 15, 1954 to Philip L. Van Kersen and Mary Lois (Johnson) Van Kersen in Mt. Pleasant Michigan.
Chris graduated from North Central High School in Indianapolis and attended IUPUI. He moved to Ohio from Indiana in the mid-1980"s to work for American thermometer, where he became an expert in encapsulation, using this skill set later in his career to work in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic sectors.
Chris loved cats, classic rock music, and Star Trek. He had a sly sense of humor, a warm smile, and enjoyed trips to the local park to visit the peacocks, drives in the country, and advanced mathematics. He will be dearly missed by those who cared for him.
He is survived by his brothers, Philip W. Van Kersen (Irene), Eric Van Kersen (Kristen Bauer), Matthew Van Kersen (Caitlin), sister Melissa Bradley (Brian), step brother Todd Grossman (Christi), step sisters Linda Huotilainen (Kalevi) and Julie McElfresh, and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Christopher in death were his twin daughters Gabrielle Hope and Bethany Faith Van Kersen, his parents, and his step mother Ruth (Sue) Van Kersen.
