Charlene R. Thompson

Age 85, of Covington, passed away Friday, December 10, 2021, at Upper Valley Medical Center. She was born July 10, 1936, in Miami County, Ohio, to her parents Carl Ray & Mary Belle (Foreman) Phillis. Charlene was a beloved mother and grandmother who was loved and cared for by her entire family.

She will be missed and remembered by her loving husband of over 68 years Judson Thompson, Jr.; children and their spouses Judy & Bob Willis, Michael Thompson, Susan Thompson, Dan & Karin Thompson, Diane Herron, Judson “Jud” Thompson, III; siblings Carl David Phillis, Carolyn “Jane” Ellis; 17 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson Judson “Juddie” Thompson IV; brothers Clayton, Clifford, Cecil, and Charles. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, December 16, at the Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren, 300 E. Monument Street, Pleasant Hill. Lynda Adams will officiate with interment following at Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 PM Wednesday at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 1 S. Main Street, Pleasant Hill. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren.
