Beverly Ann Plantz

Age  82, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Piqua Manor. She was born November 24, 1942, in Troy, Ohio, to her parents Roger O. & O. Marie (Hesselgesser) Heckman. Beverly was a shining example of kindness and service throughout her life.
Beverly was a proud graduate of Miami East High School in the class of 1960. Her passion for learning led her to further her education at Circleville Bible College, Laredo Junior College, and Edison Community College. She had a long and rewarding career at Stouder Memorial Hospital/Upper Valley Medical Center, where she dedicated many years of service before retiring.
Beyond her professional life, Beverly was civically engaged, serving as the former treasurer of the Casstown Village Council. 
Her deep faith was a guiding light, not only for her but for those around her. Beverly was very active in her church communities, particularly in the choir and the Church of Christ in Christian Union's Mission Department. She believed in the power of prayer, praying daily for the wellbeing of her children and grandchildren.
Beverly's interests reflected her loving and friendly spirit. She was an avid reader, she also cherished moments spent with her beloved grandchildren and the fellowship found within the worship of her church choir.
Beverly will be deeply missed, not only as a pillar of her community but as a faith-filled beacon and a true friend. Her legacy of love and service continues to resonate with all who knew her.

She will be missed and remembered by her loving children and their spouses Roger & Debra Hines of Troy, Barbara “Susie” & Hap Pierce of Troy, Bruce & Kaye Plantz of Troy/Taneyville, Missouri, Belinda & Tim Anderson of Covington, RosaLinda Hull of Piqua; 18 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family including Ritchie Weymer, Dionna & Todd Mills, Kim Weber and their families; good friends Pat Cusano and Basil Plantz. She was preceded in death by her first husband Clifford Royce Hines; grandson Roy Alan Plantz; her parents;  sister Judy Arlene Weymer. 

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, January 27, at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 1 S. Main Street, Pleasant Hill, with interment following at Casstown Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM Monday at the funeral home.
