Betty Katherine Patty

Age 100, of Bradford, passed away Friday, November 19, 2021, at StoryPointe Senior Living, Troy. She was born June 2, 1921, in Miami County, Ohio, to her parents Frank A. & Ersta (Shipley) Jess. Betty attended Piqua Schools and graduated from Bradford High School class of 1939. She worked along side her husband Dale E. Patty on their family farming operation. She was a longtime member of the  Greenville Creek United Church of Christ and the Stillwater Grange. 

Betty was preceded in death by her husband Dale Patty; granddaughter Teresa Patty; grandson Willis Dale Patty; sisters Vera Lou Maggert and Matilda Jones; brothers Donald Jess, Norris Jess, George Jess, Warren Jess, John Jess, Wilbur Jess; daughter-in-law Nancy Patty. 

She is survived by her sons Don Patty of Bradford, Jerry Patty of Ft. Mill, South Carolina; grandchildren Arielle Patty of Bowling Green, Michelle Stahl of Lima, JD Patty of Piqua, Lisa & Doug Prusak of Orlando, Florida, Amie Villa of St. Petersburg, Florida; great grandchildren Jonathan Edwards, Katelyn Luscomb,  Zachary Villa, Mason Stahl;  sisters Mary Ellen Wilson of Piqua, Carolyn Ferree of Piqua; brothers Lowell Jess of Pleasant Hill, Michael Jess of Marshfield, Missouri; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. 

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 23, at Jackson-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 1 S. Main Street, Pleasant Hill, with interment following at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00PM Monday at the funeral home. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Greenville Creek United Church of Christ, 5105 Buckneck Rd, Bradford, Ohio 45308.
