Barbara K. Wehrley

Age 76, of West Milton, formerly of Pleasant Hill, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Kettering Medical Center. She was born October 22, 1947, in Geraldine, Montana, to her parents Henry C. & Florence (Protsman) Meyer. Barb graduated from Geraldine High School class of 1965. On November 4, 1967, she married Douglas D. Wehrley and together they shared a life for over 52 years until his passing in 2020. She retired from BF Goodrich after 18 years of employment. She and Doug enjoyed spending time after retirement at their Celina lake home. She enjoyed playing cards, marbles, and watching the Buckeyes with family and friends. Barb was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Douglas Wehrley; her parents; and her twin brother Bruce Meyer. She will be missed and remembered by her sons and daughter-in-law Wade & Vicki Wehrley of Covington, Shawn Wehrley of Pleasant Hill; grandchildren Deryk, Blaire , Kleyson, Nick; sisters and brothers-in-law Helen Danbrook of Montana, Betty Lou Stoos of Montana, Karen & Frank Dollar of Washington, Jan White of Montana; brother Casey Meyer of Montana; sisters-in-law Norma Noll of West Milton,  Carol & Kent Stockslager of Cincinnati, Punnee Meyer of South Carolina.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, October 30, at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 1 S. Main Street, Pleasant Hill, with interment following at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.  If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County.
