Cynthia J. Alexander

Age 74, of Pleasant Hill, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit. She was born January 22, 1944, in Piqua, Ohio, to her parents Clyde M. & Marie (Bodkin) Preston. Cindy graduated from Newton High School class of 1962. She retired as a paralegal from Faust, Harrelson, Fulker, McCarthy and Schlemmer. She was a lifelong member of the First Brethren Church of Pleasant Hill.  She will be missed and remembered by her loving husband 55 years of Gary R. Alexander; daughter and son-in-law Kimberly & Chris Vestal of Pleasant Hill; son and daughter-in-law Kelly & Cathy Alexander of Troy; grandchildren Victoria “Tori” Weeks Pleasant Hill, Jessica Weeks of Pleasant Hill, Jack Alexander of Nashville, Tennessee, Nicholas Alexander Orlando, Florida; sisters Patricia Schultz of California, Rebecca Ray of West Milton; numerous nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law Thomas A. Schultz.

A celebration of life will be held 6:00 PM Tuesday, April 3, at First Brethren Church, 210 N. Church Street, Pleasant Hill, with Pastor Lynn Mercer officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-6 PM Tuesday at the church. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County or the First Brethren Church.
