Albert “Bill” Willis

Age 82, of Pleasant Hill, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017, at his home. He was born December 17, 1934, in Piqua, Ohio, to his parents Lloyd Allen & Marguerite Marie (Miller) Willis. On August 26, 1956, he married Nancy Lee Wackler in Pleasant Hill, and together they shared a life for over 60 years. Bill retired from General Motors in 1996 after over 30 years of service. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie 971 and the Moose Lodge 2695. He enjoyed attending auctions, taking care of his lawn, and he loved visiting his children, siblings, and grandchildren. He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Nancy Willis; children and their spouses Lloyd & Suzie Willis of Troy, Jean & Ron Smith of Troy, Jane Willis of Pleasant Hill, Bill & Susan Willis of Brookville, Anthony Willis of Bradford; grandchildren Jason, Michael, Cory, Cole; great grandchildren Brady, Casey, Eli; siblings Jack Willis of Piqua, Etta & Robert Kress of Piqua, Charles Willis of Fletcher, David & Hilda Willis of Covington; sister-in-law Joy Willis. He was preceded in death by his siblings Glen Willis, Bernard Willis, Gene Willis, Lillian Caldwell.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Friday, January 27, at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 1 S. Main Street, Pleasant Hill. Pastor Nick Beam and Linda Adams will officiate with interment following at Miami Memorial Park, Covington. The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
