Age 97, of Pleasant Hill, went to be with the Lord Friday morning, October 30, 2015. She was born October 17, 1918, in Miami County, Ohio, to her parents Jacob David & Ethel Amanda (Baker) Shellabarger. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Joseph Garrison King in 1997; brothers Erman, Byron, and Pharon Shellabarger. She will be missed and remembered by her children and their spouse Larry & Ruth King of Laura, Rhonda King of Pleasant Hill, Joe & Carla King of Pleasant Hill; grandchildren Jim & Amy King, Jeff & Betsy King, Jamie & Jason Deaton, Candi & Jared Schaurer; great grandchildren Logan King, Graham King, Morgan King, Atley King, Jaden Deaton, Gentri Deaton, Jaxon Deaton, Jentzen Deaton, Payton Schaurer, Gavstian Schaurer, Zoey Schaurer; sister Marlene Long of Cridersville. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 4, at Shiloh NC 8376 Pitsburg-Laura Rd, Arcanum, with interment following at Newcomer Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-7 PM Tuesday at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 1 S. Main Street, Pleasant Hill. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Koester Pavilion or the American Cancer Society.
