Matt was in my classroom when he was in 2nd grade at Arcanum Elementary School. I also had Rick in 2nd grade and reconnected with him through a friend of his. Holly was in my class when I was teaching at Arcanum-Butler Middle School. Even though having them in class was long ago, I remember each of them fondly. When I read about Matt, his smiling 2nd grade face came to mind, and tears came to my eyes. It's hard to believe that many of my former students are gone.
